Robert M. Taylor
Robert M. Taylor received his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University, his Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law (now known as the Michigan State University School of Law), and his LLM in Taxation from the Wayne State University Law School. Robert is also a Certified Public Accountant. He helps individuals and families with their estate planning needs, including assistance with wills, trusts, healthcare powers of attorney, financial powers of attorney, conservatorships and guardianships. Robert has created many charitable organizations and charitable trusts, as well as public and private foundations and general business entities (corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships). Professional trustees and attorneys have called upon Robert to help them with complicated tax issues. Oftentimes professionals refer to him taxpayers who have tax liabilities that need to be “settled up” with the Internal Revenue Service. Robert has handled many “innocent spouse,” “offer in compromise,” and “installment payment” cases. He has gone to the IRS appeals office to reduce trust fund penalties.
