Mr. Gallagher brings over two decades of experience in the insurance industry to Lennon Miller. Prior to receiving his law degree, Mr. Gallagher worked as a claims adjuster at the nation’s largest automobile and homeowner’s insurance company for over 10 years. Having an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, Mr. Gallagher primarily practices in all aspects of Insurance Defense including first party personal injury protection claims (including provider claims); third party negligence and bodily injury claims; uninsured and underinsured motorist claims; property protection insurance claims; dwelling fires, thefts, floods, weather losses, and mold claims; extracontractual claims; fraud; dog bites; slip and falls; recreational vehicle claims; vehicle fires and thefts; intentional acts; premises liability claims; and the recovery of various benefits on behalf of insurance carriers.

Mr. Gallagher has also devoted a significant portion of his practice to pre-litigation activities including analyzing and interpreting insurance policy provisions and language; investigating potentially fraudulent insurance claims; conducting examinations under oath; and providing opinions and claims and coverage recommendations to insurers. Over his career, Mr. Gallagher has successfully represented a variety of clients from individuals to multi-billion dollar corporations.

Mr. Gallagher was a well-seasoned negotiator before he began practicing law, which, along with his interpersonal skills, has been the foundation of his law practice. Mr. Gallagher’s practice extends across Michigan, where he has advocated for clients in over 35 counties and both Federal Districts. Prior to joining Lennon Miller, Mr. Gallagher was an attorney at the boutique trial-firm of RizzoDay, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mr. Gallagher was a Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, received certificates of merit, volunteered at pro bono clinics at the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan and Degage Ministries, and finished in the top 7% of his graduating class.
