Michael D. O’Connor
“Mr. O’Connor has practiced extensively in commercial real estate including site acquisition and development, environmental issues, condemnation proceedings, commercial lending and financing and complex litigation.
He has been admitted to practice in all Michigan State Courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. O’Connor has been a member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association.
Mr. O’Connor has devoted significant time to non-profit entities in both a professional and volunteer capacity.
Michael D. O’Connor, a counsel at Lennon, Miller & Bartosiewicz, P.L.C., graduated from Dartmouth College in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Law School in 1971, graduating Cum Laude. He was also Editor-in-Chief of the Law Journal and honored with Order-of-the-Coif designation in recognition of academic achievement.
Upon graduation, he served as law clerk to the late Honorable W. Wallace Kent of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
