Ron W. Kimbrel
Ron W. Kimbrel, of counsel at Lennon, Miller & Bartosiewicz, PLC., was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1954.
During and after graduation from law school, Mr. Kimbrel was employed with Allstate Insurance Company, where he completed various policy schools. He then worked for two years with Transamerica Insurance Company as a Claims Attorney. For the past 25 years, Mr. Kimbrel has been principally engaged in insurance defense. He joined the law firm of Piatt & Doyle in 1984, and has continued as a counsel with its successor firm Lennon, Miller & Bartosiewicz, P.L.C.
Mr. Kimbrel’s insurance defense practice includes all areas of insurance law, with a concentration in transportation (long haul trucking), construction, political entities (tort liability), first-party no-fault, fraud investigation, sports and leisure, railroad liability (FELA), auto and general negligence, products and premises liability, workers’ compensation, governmental immunity, closed head injury litigation and is a certified Mediator.
Mr. Kimbrel is a member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, the Michigan State Bar Association, including the Negligence Law section, and the American Bar Association, including the Tort and Insurance Practice section. He is admitted to practice in all Michigan State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts in Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Mr. Kimbrel received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University in 1977 and attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, obtaining his Juris Doctor on January 17, 1981.
